In creating a product or a service, it requires a certain amount of originality, creativity, and ingenuity. You need to consolidate all these elements in order to come up with a far more effective product. Here are few guidelines and tips that product creators would like to share in order to drive excellence in terms of creating a product:
a. In order for the product maker to unleash his innovativeness and creativity in making a product, he needs to be triggered by certain factors. One of the best triggering factors is the input from the targeted market. This means that a product maker should know the pulse of the potential clients. From their wants, their needs, and pre-needs. From there, the product maker will then come up with a genuine and unique concept about what product will best answer the pressing demand.
b. Consider the product marketability. Do a market research to have an estimate as to how huge or limited your target market is. By doing so, you can effectively plan on how much you are going to spend in creating a product and it’s potential return of investment. In this stage, you need to determine the tag price of your product and make sure that it is within your target market’s buying power.
c. Create the product. In creating the product, you need to make sure that you have carefully outlined and structuralized the different and various components that make up the entire good. When you are able to structuralize the product, then there is a little chance or no chance at all for the product to fail. The structure is a guide to ensure that each component is working as designed.
