Milk is considered best among drinks. Nutritionist consider it the source of calcium and minerals. Milk protects us from the problem of Osteoporosis. It is a source of vitamin A, D, Riboflavin, Magnesium and Potassium. It has such acids which increase our resistant power. It is a good source of protein, fat, and calcium, at least for those children who don’t have a milk protein allergy or lactose intolerance.
But many doctors forbid from drinking milk. They consider it useful for the children only. According to them by drinking milk people of old age may suffer from many problems. One of the essence found in the milk has the risk of causing tumor and breast cancer. Doctors forbid from drinking milk because it produces bacteria in tooth and bad odor in mouth. That is why after drinking milk brush your teeth always. A report presented by the Vegetarian Foundation, states that the milk taken from cows, as well as other dairy products promote diseases such as cancer, heart disease, osteoporosis, and obesity.
Though it is a known fact that mothers milk is very important nutritionally for the baby. Infants and toddlers who drink much more than 24 ounces of milk each day can have problems with constipation. Besides this milk does not has iron, so if the child is filled with milk alone than he will have no space to eat other things and will suffer from iron deficiency anemia. Thus instead of putting 8 ounce in his cup just put 6 ounce of milk.
We have been drinking milk from thousands of years but have never heard of any disease from milk. To be cautious, drink milk without cream or mix 100 grams of water in 250 gram milk and a pinch of dry ginger and boil it. After the water is burned take out the cream, let it cool. Milk has calcium so don’t take iron along with it because both are opposing essence.
