If you’re not completely happy with the way sales are going for your eBay store, it’s time to do something about it now. Don’t be contented even with average sales. 1.) Take a look at your product description pages. Do they have pictures of the actual products on sale? Do they contain complete listings of specifications? Are the descriptions positive and enticing? Are all words spelled correctly? Is your grammar perfect? If you answered no to any of these questions, go and fix the problem right away. A poorly done product description page turns off potential buyers because it doesn’t make you look professional and trustworthy.
2.) Give buyers an option to buy your products by the bulk at wholesale prices even if you’re a retailer. Of course, they can go to a wholesaler to make their purchase, but you’ll be losing out on a big sale.
3.) Add variety to your product list. If you’re selling women’s shoes, you may consider expanding your line by selling women’s accessories. As you can see from the example, don’t just add random products to sell. Make sure that the additional products still appeal to your original target audience.
4.) Maintain a good professional relationship with your buyers. How you relate to them determines whether or not they will make a second purchase. If they’re happy with the service you’ve given them, they’ll not only maker repeat purchases; they’ll also recommend you to their own families and friends. This kind of advertising is something you can never buy.
