How To Gain Self Confidence That Is Rock Solid
How to gain self confidence in your life is much easier then you probably think it is. This first thing that you need to know is that self confidence starts in your mind. Rock solid self confidence all starts inside of you and you alone. So how is that done? Here are 3 keys to show you how to gain self confidence that is rock solid.
1. Understanding beliefs.
Self confidence is a belief. You either believe that you are self confident or you believe that you aren’t. All beliefs are made by reference legs. Think of a table. The table top is the belief and the legs underneath it are what hold it up. The more legs under the table the stronger it is. The same is true with beliefs. The more reference legs that are under your belief that stronger it will be.
2. Reference legs.
Reference legs are things in the past that you use to support a belief. For instance, you may believe that you are shy. Some of the reference legs that you may have to support that belief are a memory of meeting someone and blushing, or your mind going blank when you are around a group of people. Reference legs hold up all your beliefs whether they are positive or negative.
3. Change the reference legs, change the belief.
Right now you have reference legs that support your belief that you aren’t self confident. To have rock solid self confidence all you need to do is put reference legs under your belief that support the belief that you have self confidence. Find as many areas in your life that you have had self confidence and begin to build your belief of self confidence upon those reference legs.
