How To Keep Your Resolutions And Reach Your Goals

Another year has flown by and here you are at the beginning of another year. This is a time when many people assess their life and make “new year resolutions” or set goals for the New Year. Sometimes they are the exact same resolutions as last year!! Did you make some of these?

I will:

* Lose weight, get into shape, and exercise more
* Spend more time with my family
* Stress less & relax more
* Get more sleep
* Save money
* Change jobs
* Be happy

Is It Possible To Do Submission Grappling Without Getting Injured?

Is it possible to be a grappler and train injury free? By some reactions that I’ve received in the past, many tend to think that grappling “injury-free” is very possible. Some grapplers like to believe that most injuries could be avoided if training partners were more considerate and less competitive while training.

Creative Visualization - Some Techniques That Really Work - Or How To Make Them Work

The past few weeks had seen me occupying myself with other commitments apart from my website. I had been working on creating and launching my viral marketing software product by promoting it on several internet marketing forums, purchasing leads, distributing articles and approaching editors of internet marketing newsletters.

I confess I had not done any conscious or ’serious’ goal setting or even any visualising at all to help me in this effort, but I have achieved a significant measure of success in this after all.

Do You Really Want To Be A Black Belt - Or Just Faking It?

Let’s say that you’re a BJJ Instructor and you have two students that show up to join your school on the same day. You talk to both of these prospective students to find out their backgrounds and this is what you learned about both of them:

After talking with Grappler #1 (G1), you learn that this grappler
was:

- very confident, showing little or no self-doubt about wanting to achieve the BJJ BB

- very athletic and had been involved with martial arts since he was a child

- a black belt in a traditional martial art

How Tenacious Are Your People In Executing Your Strategic Plan?

Implementing a strategic plan appears to be a consistent challenge from the small business owner to the Fortune 100 companies. Your people need to be tenacious. The question is how does one build that necessary quality of tenacity as you move forward to achieve your business results.

Tenacity as defined by Webster “is the state of being tenacious.” The origins of tenacious are Latin and mean “to hold.” Some people interchange the words courage, determination, obstinacy, perseverance, persistency, resiliency and stubbornness for the words tenacity or tenacious. All of these words work because they imply the action of holding on.

There Is Only One Reality

Death and taxes are not the only guarantees in life: Reality counts
as well. Reality is the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.

Deny reality, and you will soon discover that life is a game of truth
or consequences.

Facts are facts…perceptions are perceptions. Each is powerful…each
serves a purpose. But you MUST know the difference. True honesty,
self-respect, and character are built on reality…not on perceptions.

For those who believe that perception is more important than reality, I
suggest you speak to the shareholders of Enron and ask them their
opinion.
