Reading Faster Than Your Friends
Reading fast is a tool that will save time but won’t compromise comprehension. Take the case of Howard Berg, the world’s fastest reader. This man can read 27,000 words per minute. Ask him anything about the text he read and you’ll be sure to get a good answer from him. In fact, when he was asked questions regarding a book he read 3 years before, he still was able to answer all questions impressively. Reading fast must not lead to lower comprehension; instead, it even aims to improve it.
